OUR MAIN PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED SINCE 2020

1. Contribution to Sustainability - Nature and Environment Friendly Products

THANKS TO OUR MODERN TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT, WE BURN SUPERIOR QUALITY WITH LESS RAW MATERIAL AND LESS WASTE

• Natural cellulose of plant origin is used in our products. As a result of the R&D studies, the same quality and performance level was maintained with less cellulose consumption without reducing the absorbency feature. With the thin absorbent briefs designed as a result of the study, 10-50% less cellulose was used, resulting in less environmental waste. The United States alone cuts 250,000 trees a year for disposable nappies. In this project, our company has taken an environmentalist step for less tree cutting in the sector by using less cellulose.
• With the new techniques and materials developed with the aim of less waste, the amount of glue used annually has been reduced by 5 tonnes in 1 year, and in parallel with this, the amount of waste disposed to the environment has been reduced. Similarly, with the TUBITAK project "batch glue application in adult diapers", the amount of waste glue released to nature has been reduced by 10%.
• In order to meet the needs of environmentally conscious consumers and in accordance with sensitive baby skin, skin-friendly wet wipes were produced with Önlem Sensitive Care containing 99.5% pure water. By using nearly 100% pure water in the wet wipes produced in this study, both the environment and human skin are touched with maximum naturalness. Similarly, the amount of waste given to the environment has been significantly reduced.
• The majority of nappy waste is disposed of in waste burial areas. It takes more than 500 years for disposable nappies, which are thought to be disposed of under the ground, to completely disappear. Within the framework of the "Green Consensus Action Plan", Pakten has directed its R&D activities to the field of nappies made from environmentally friendly biodegradable raw materials and wet towels that can completely dissolve in nature by reducing plastic with policies that support sustainability by using resources effectively.

WE INCREASE THE RATE OF NATURALNESS IN NAPPIES AND ADULT CARE PRODUCTS

• For the first time in Turkey, the top surfaces formulated and reinforced with the combination of 5 botanical extracts, creating a silky and cottony touch, are used in Önlem Botanika nappies and our company has become one of the top 4 biggest nappy brands in Turkey by rising to the top segment nappies category. In the R&D trials carried out in our company, which caught the environmental trend with Önlem Botanika nappies, studies are being carried out to produce biodegradable nappies by gradually increasing the naturalness rate in the nappy. With the development of biodegradable disposable products by gradually increasing the naturalness rate with environmentally friendly and biodegradable raw materials, our company's contribution to sustainability is to become one of the 5 major brands of the sector in 5 countries in 5 years with sustainable, focused and profitable growth performance in the hygienic products sector.
• Pakten has become Turkey's first and only manufacturer of baby nappies and adult care products with the only Oeko-Tex Certificate proving that they do not contain any harmful chemicals.
• Since our company is open to continuous self-improvement and adopts customer opinions, in order to meet the demands of consumers, survey studies conducted with important research organisations such as Wizsight etc. are carried out in order to meet the demands of consumers.

2. Üretimde Verimliliği Artırmak ve Atık Malzeme Kontrolü

• Endüstri 4.0 ile çalışan sistemler ile hijyenik ve kontrollü çalışan ham madde aktarımları, enerji tasarrufları, düşük kimyasal ve su miktarları ile ıslak mendil üretim hattının verimliliği arttırılmıştır. Aynı zamanda sistemin getirdiği faydalar göz önüne alındığında hijyen üretim hatlarında da Endüstri 4.0 çalışmaları firmaya kazandırılmaktadır
• Çalışan verimliliğini artırmak için, dakiklik, yüksek kaliteli çıktı ve güvenli prosedürlerin birleşimini sağlayan gerçekçi, net bir şekilde tanımlanmış Saatlik / Günlük / Haftalık / Aylık ve Yıllık üretim kapasitesi raporları oluşturulmaktadır. Ar-Ge ve üretim ekibi olarak bu konuda iyileştirme çalışmaları gerçekleştirmekteyiz. Bu kapsamda Sanayi Odasının düzenlediği ve firmamızın da dahil olduğu Model Fabrika eğitimi sonunda firma içerisinde uyguladığımız 5S, Kaizen, Darboğaz gibi çalışmalar %75 civarında üretim verimliliğimizi arttırmıştır.
• Kullanıcıdan tedarikçiye tüm paydaşların beklentilerini karşılayan memnuniyet ve değer odaklı bir ekosistem yaratmak.

3. To train R&D personnel who are academically strong, adaptable to work in industry, and able to transfer their scientific studies to the sector,

• Since 2019, the number of female employees in the R&D Centre, which has been operating since 2019, has been increased by 70% in 2020-2021, supporting the presence of women in the business world.
• Our R&D Centre, which has carried out 26 different innovative projects since 2019, carries out joint studies with many domestic and foreign companies in the sector. At the same time, TUBITAK projects have been carried out in the name of University-Industry merger.
